Hello new to the forum I've searched and haven't found anything similar. My sphynx has some tender spots on his back that are kind of scabby. I was hoping to see if it's something I should see a vet over or not.

Welcome to sphynxlair. Can you post a pic of the skin issue?
If you can't post a pic you can also search this forum for skin issues/rash to see if you see something simalar as your sphynx

A little hard to capture a good pic. Here's what I could do.

Is he rubbing in something? Are they getting worse?
If they are getting worse I might see the vet to rule out ringworm. You don't want that at all.

@Travelingsphynx , welcome to the lair family
What's your boys name ? Is he your avatar pic ?

Is he sitting on any warm surfaces - heat floor vents, cable boxes, etc
Is it tender to the touch?
Always best for peace of mind to check with his vet.

He's never really had a vet that I've felt was very well versed in sphynx. I will give it a look over tomorrow for an update. I figured I'd give him a look with fresh eyes after a few days. Yes tender to the touch, doesn't look like ringworm in person. Also his name is Thomas Hayden Church he's always been a pretty healthy cat. Check ups have always came back clean!
