In one week I'll be getting a gorgeous seal point boy. I'm having trouble coming up with a name for him. Would anyone like to help??! :)

I've always owned cats but this is my first hairless. If anyone has any tips for me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Feel free to ask any questions :)
Usually I get some of the same food and litter they had at the breeder
And check your contrract - some have a clause for a wellness check with your vet within a few days
Many of us supplement with l-lysine powder
Several of us use dr elseys unscented clumping litter in the blue and white bag
As well as Hylt shampoo - it's soda free hypoallergenic and rinses easy
Some of us also add d'grease shampoo (rinse well)
exfoliating gloves are great for spa day and for holding slippery wet kitty -
Get him used to baths amd remember not to overbath -

Looking forward to updates :)
Remember to look under foot when walking and watch opening doors
They are always underfoot amd stealth fast!
Kitty proof everything - they are notorious for chewing cords , dental floss, yarn etc
And my love to knock things off off shelves just because they can so be sure to secure one breakables amd remove plants they may chew on -
I make sure too the toilet lids stay down! Mine are fascinated

@Sammicarkeys ,here is another link
Sphynx cat names I thought would be cool!

Thanks for the info!! As for names, a list of names I've considered are-

Arkham

Winston

Morty

Leon

Lord Varys (because he'll be a bald eunuch, get it, hahah)

Jasper

King

I'm a huge game of thrones fan (hence a name listed above hahah)
My breeder tells me that he is very mellow. I met him once when he was 5 weeks old, but it was hard to get a feel for his personality at that age.

Thank you! I'm glad to have found a Sphynx community. I've been feeling a little guilty since deciding on getting a Sphynx. I've always rescued/adopted unwanted cats and I feel guilty because everyone always says "adopt, don't shop" and this one single time I'm "shopping" and I've faced a lot of "backlash" from old friends.

No shaming here. We have rescued and gone through breeders. It is a personal decision and no matter which route you take a baby is blessed and your heart grows. No room for negative people... celebrate life and share with us...we "get it."

Enjoy every second with your baby. Don't let no one make
you feel guilty. They would do what they wanted to.
I'm not against adoption, that's for sure.
But, you've got to do what your heart leads you to do.
I bought my girl and I sure don't regret it. My choice.
You'll not have any negative things said to you here.

Welcome to Sphynxlair! Your life will never be the same again and your new arrival is beautiful.

My top tip is: no-more white sheets on the bed

I actually have white sheets on the bed currently... hahahahah I know, probably a mistake. But so far so good, he stays clean because all he does is sleep and run around in the living room. His skin is very dry...for now

@Sammicarkeys , well Leon is certainly adorable in his sweater! I like the name !

Remember don't use lotion on him ( you SOTM womt to have him ingest or clog pores )
and over bathing can be drying to skin

A great hypoallergenic soap free shampoo a member recommended to me years ago is Hylyt shampoo
It keeps there skin nice and rinses easily :)
My vets office sells is amd it is available online . I have not seen it sold in stores
