@Axhlxxgh , so exicted for you ! Fluffy boy is so stinkin cute! What a face !
Look forward to gotcha day pics and tales!
I know your heart is going pitter patter with excitement !
Kitty proof for life ! Watch walking - they are always underfoot! Amd open and close doors slowly !
It's recommend to keep on same food amd litter when you bring your boy home -
A good scratching post to teach Him early - scratch on it yourself praise n treat-
Do this when he wakes amd thought the day .
And set up a kitty room especially of you have other pets
Lots of soft throw blankies ! A warm ome from the dryer on your lap is great too!
Highly recommend scheduling a wellness check om gotcha day or soon after .
Check your contract - some require a wellness check within a certain number of days .
So I call ahead to schedule - you can being a poo sample too for a fecal test
Amd I always am the vet to take a good listen to the heart for any murmurs
Watch hot stove tops , dryers , wash machines , curling irons etc
They are heat seekers! Amd super fast !
You can also discuss neutering with your vet and be sure NO Ketamime anesthesia
It can have a rebound effect on the heart -
At neutering it's a good time to microchip if that's some, thing you are interested in
Like mentioned , the info center had great threads!
Looking forward to Fluffy boy gotcha day pics and tales
Let us know your name ideas ?
I swear my next will be named "Oscar "
Always into the trash and eat like little piggies! Lol
@Axhlxxgh He is sooooo cute! Beautiful blue eyes!! Welcome to the Lair. Everyone here is super helpful and kind.
Here is a list of names I brainstormed when choosing one for my seal mink boy:
Calvin- name means bald or hairless
Krampus Claws- European folklore
PETA- “I’d rather go naked than wear fur”
Count Olof - ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’
Lord Disick- From the Kardashians
Keyser Söze- ‘The Usual Suspects’
Kreacher- Harry Potter
I really loved some of those names. I ended up choosing Kenzo after the Japanese-French designer. It means “strong and healthy.” I hope one of those names speaks to you, or at least inspires your own kit’s name!
