Not a Sphynx owner yet

Hey there, everyone! My name is Becca and I just joined. My fiance and I are looking to get a sphynx kitty at some point in the near future. My tattoo artist has a sphynx named Cosmo and I fell in love. My fiance is allergic to cats, but loves them, so I figured, what better cat than a sphynx! If y'all could give me some pointers, facts, things I should know, or even links with useful information, it would be greatly appreciated! I want to make sure that I know everything needed to properly care for a sphynx. Thanks so much! ♡

Has your fiance ever been in the same room with a sphynx for a while and pet/cuddled one? Cause even if they don’t have hair people that are allergic to cats can still be allergic to sphynx. Some people are only allergic to catfur. Others also to dander and saliva. Those people will still be allergic to sphynx. But that said: I’m allergic to furr, dander and saliva and live happily in a house with 3 sphynx!

Sphynx are be called 1/4 cat, 1/4 dog, 1/4 baby, 1/4 monkey. They’re the best and most lovely cats if you ask me.

And just you know....sphynx are like potato chips...one is never enough
