so tonight I was cuddling my cat and I felt something odd when I was touching her feet. It was black so I thought she had stepped in poop and it dried up. Nope it was blood because she was crying and when I scraped it away it started to bleed. I have a feeling she may have burned her feet when she accidentally jumped on a hot pan during Super Bowl. Could it be a burn? It's only on the back paws. What should I do

Sorry to hear of this issue. Did the bleeding stop again? Can she still walk on her paws? If it stopped beeding and there come a crust on it it's okay. It's important to check it to make sure it doesn't get infected or doesn't get litter in it.
You can ask your vet for some desinfection and ask the vet if you need to do more about it. But most of the time it heals out of his own.
Sending healing vibes.

Can you share a picture? It would surely be helpful in determining how bad it is and suggestions on healing the paw. :)

Oh no :(
Please call your vets office and see what they advise -
Can you post a pic? So we may try to offer ideas?

Hopefully not a burn :(
I know when I use the stove or oven my sphynx kitties have to be put up/away in my bedroom
I never had to do this with any other breed-

Healing vibes sent

I agree with @admin let's see a pic. It is almost a week later and these guys heal very fast. Scabbing is part of healing and if you pulled it off, it is natural to bleed. If you have not seen limping and blood spots all over it might already be healing relatively well. Being it is almost a week if it is bad you will know if it is infected from litterbox etc by now and there are usually worse signs if infected like swelling, oozing, possible pus etc. BUT above all, trust your gut if you are very worried and it looks really bad, see a vet.

The funny thing is she is acting like nothing is wrong. She's still been running around all over the house chasing her sister and her entertain level does not display that she is in pain. I only noticed it because I was playing with her feet

Since I've had a regular cat for a year it's so hard to know exactly what to do since Sophie would have never tried to go near the stove. I'm learning though

We have the breeze litter box system so I think the only thing that would do is open the wound again since they are pelet like. I'm paranoid so I am def going to call the vet but I'm debating whether it's an emergency or not.

Trust your gut...
- it has been almost a week since Super Bowl - with scabbing it could be an older injury in the healing process and irritated with scab off-
I swear this breed keeps us on our toes with the mystery things that they get into -

The vet may give over the phone instructions based on your description or texted photo to them and monitor over the weekend?

If you have vetericyn spray - ask your vet if you can use this or a
Foot soak or wet face cloth compress with the foot soak mix like I do with dogs if they get a paw pad cut

I just called the vet and he said e-collar to prevent licking and neosporen on the scabs. I swear she gets into everything. Lately her and my other cat like to run around knocking large things over at night! Thanks for the reply

Glad you spoke to your vet :)

Yes, we get night gremlin rampages with surprise knock over things , stealing , etc here too -we discover in the morning
I feel like kitty proofing is 24/7 with these rascals :)

(For these wild child's I now keep more stuff on hand for an emergency kit than I ever needed before -
Vetericyn VF spray, entederm, tresaderm, Providone very diluted to almost clear for soaks, etc)

I hand held flashlight and magnifying glass to see what the heck they get into with their feet etc
and head lamp to help clean ears )

Healing vibes! Keep us updated! So glad you were able to chat with your vet :)
Brings peace of mind and relief

Super your vet was not alarmed. By the look it does not look bad, but of course it was frightening to find. You probably would have seen excessive licking and limping by now if truly infected. The neosporin and cone of shame will hopefully do the trick! Keep us posted.

On the pics it looks already healed well and it doesn't look infected. If she walks on it and isn't bothered by it I would leave it like this. Just keep an eye on it. My dog had this kind of wounds on his paws a lot of times and if always healed without a problem.

Hope it heals up quickly. I believe with the cone and neosporin
it will. But, I would watch it. If, it's not looking any better in a few days
I would have a visit with the Vet.

Oh dear. Yes, these guys get into everything.

Glad it's healing, and you received great advice above and from your vet.

Sending more healing vibes for you.
