Hello all! It has recently become official that I will be the new mommy of a little baby boy! Buster, my 9 year old, is our only Sphynx but we are happily adding to the family! I am flying to Virginia this Friday to visit the guy and I am planning on posting photos when I get there! I want to make sure the breeder is comfortable with me posting photos before I do so but I am very, very excited! His Gotcha day is May 9th so it will be a while before I can take him home. I'm going to treasure this time, though, because before I know it he won't be a kitty anymore and I will be looking back at these days! We are getting the alpha of the litter because Buster can be a bit bossy and we want a kitten who can stand up for himself. He is a blue and white mink sphynx with blue eyes :) I couldn't be more excited!

@BusterTheCat , my Toby love is dominant- he thinks ( but at bed time and snuggles with all)
I do find using two da bird toys or similar pole toys and tossing treats in a neutral room for meets works great!
Recently orderd Neko flies too amd leaps and bounds rattle mice I tied to the Dabird pole a big hit

Kisses to big brother Buster! Do you have more Buster pics to share ! I dont do FB
or IG amd love seeing my updates here

@Yoda mom Thank you for the suggestions! Buster is also a huge snuggler at bed time :D I'd be happy to post photos!

Here he is in a sweater I knitted him for the winter

@BusterTheCat , awh .. Adorable - and you are talented making his Handsome sweater . Buster has an expressive face and btw, what does he eat ? My Batmam got round in the middle and I was told he looks like he ate a small child in his new Batman cape - :) He is not much of a toy player so having other kitties to romp with helps

Did you tell Buster about his new baby brother ?:)
Love the pic of him in "his" box
Head smooches !

Keep us posted ! Name ideas?

@Yoda mom Thank you! That was my first sweater and I was so happy it turned our well :) We feed him Weruva. Our other cat, Rosie, has kibble available 24/7 on top of the laundry machine (Buster can't jump up there) and Buster just gets his meals twice a day due to his weight. Buster loves to swat golf balls around the house but other than that he mostly plays stationary (swatting at a toy but not running around with it) so I think maybe having a brother will help with his activeness just like your cat!

My two top names are Dunkin and Ripley, I think we will decide on a definite one this weekend when we visit! I can't wait to post pictures of him!

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so excited for you.

I know what you mean by having an alpha cat, and needing another alpha to keep him in check! While Max is an alpha, he is also quite a gentleman and a lover. But he does what he wants on his terms. The breeder helped me with my new edition, Min, and even though she's only been here for a little over 24 hours, she is everything the breeder said – assertive, confident, and won't take crap. I have an inkling that neither of them will ever be on top for very long, constantly trading this off back and forth LOL

Can't wait to see pictures. And Buster is adorable. Congratulations.
