He gets up on the fluffiest part of the blankets.... then starts doing the "kneading" thing, all four paws going one at a time, back & forth, purring really loud, almost uncontrollable...
he just goes on & on & on, diging in with his paws, like a kitten digging into their mother when getting milk - I don't know what this is called, but all cats & kittens do it... but mine... hrm.... when he is done, he rolls over, and there it is....
just hangin out there ahem... pink as day... and the ickiest part is the blanket is then all ick! wet.... eesh.
Any advise? Do I repromand him for this? Stop him right wwhen he starts? Let him finish?
Is this someting normal for my "Teen Sphynx boy"?

Aaahahahahaha, Dex does this too. I usually just tell him "hey!" and he stops....it really weirds me out which my hubby finds hilarious - look hon, Dex is raping the blankets again! *shudders* HAY! Icky. Icky.

Male cats do have their fancy with blankets at times. Generally just shooing them away will do the trick! Did you get him fixed late in age? Here is a thread that may help a bit but spun out of control near the end!

Arias only does it on a super fuzzy blanket, never in our bed and he curls right up and falls asleep (and he only does it before a nap, never before bed). We were just in Atlanta for Thanksgiving visiting my folks and my mom had one of those super fluffy snuggie blankets. Oh man, Arias starting going to down on it! My mom didn't know about the arousal part of it, but his breathe stinks so bad and he was licking up a storm on it, so she made me wash it! hahaha If she read this thread she would have been extra disgusted what her "grand-kitty" was doing on her snuggie!!!

Arias usually just falls asleep right after kneading/purring/licking/who knows what else.....he only carries on for about 5 minutes. I have never seen his "thing" hanging out afterwards, but I am sure it is! I used to make him stop but when I told my hubby that I thought Arias was doing something "naughty" he told me "Just let the guy do his thing...if it's how he falls asleep, then so be it. It's not hurting us and he is enjoying himself". I didn't really have an argument why he shouldn't be allowed to have his fun

There a number of Sphynx boys here at SL who really go for microfleece. You might want to shoo him from doing his thing in front of people so that he doesn't get in the habit of embarassing you in front of guests, but what he does in private with a designated, machine washable 'friend' instead of your good clothes or blankets, wouldn't hurt anyone; so let him go for it.

even though we neutered him pretty early, he would hump only male humans and have the red tip and a bit of a clear fluid discharge... ew... never any other animals or female humans...

Namir is starting to grab Darwin by the neckskin when they play now and then latelly.
6 months old and is not gonna be fixed for quite a long time still. 4 months before he can start breeding and then we'll see how long I can keep him firtile. I have had male cats that was no problems to not fix so I am hoping he will be one of them and that Darwin don't have to suffer. If there are problems I will just let him do it a few times then fix him.

Or maybe they get into the Rainbow lifestyle, who knows.

I only have females, but I am not all that put off by this, and would let my boytake his piece...of blanket...whenever he wanted...who is it really hurting? Just remember to somehow designate the blanket as "for cats only" ...would hate to have a guest decide to use it! LOL LOL LOL...oh dear, I am sorry, my dirty mind just gets away from me at times...time to replace my PC filter!

I did have a rescue hedgehog who liked to... uummm... pleasure himself. Hedgehogs can roll into a ball... and... well... use their mouth to.... You get the idea! It was very disturbing. I also took in an iguana who liked to use me for his man pleasures. For those that don't know. male iguanas grab their mates by the neck and hold them down, and then mate. My boy Kiki rapes his blankies ALLLLL the time.

Kiki was originally going to be my stud cat. I wasn't going to breed in my house, but I was going to stud him out, since I think he's beautiful and would have the potential to give some very nice, strong kittens (he's a very muscular, powerful kitty with a great temperment).

However, he had to be fixed. Why, you ask?

Well, I have my darling Wiki, who is also a male. Wiki was fixed very young before I got him, and has some mental problems anyway, so he's just like a very young kitten, even though he's approaching 2 years old. When Kiki was maturing, he thought Wiki made a great...uhm....practice cat...I guess...

Poor Wiki had no idea what was going on and would let Kiki just pin him down whenever he liked and bite his neck. Wiki just looked confused while it happened. Never complained, never meowed, never tried to get away. Just sat there and took it.

One too many of these sessions and I said "enough!" and took him to get snipped.

Ever since then he's left Wiki alone and just preys on blankets now. And occasionally my leg.

And yes, sometimes he decides to do it at 3am with that loud "voicy" purring he does when he's really "getting into it" - I just plop him on his side, tell him to stop & he goes right to sleep - he is SUCH a good boy

But when I haven't stopped him "in time"? Unfortunately, I have checked the blanket afterwards, and it has uhm... like wet spots.... NOT pleasant, not something I will EVER check again, in fact, lemmie just say it right now... ICKY,GAWD!!
Maybe he was licking it, or maybe it wasnt saliva, I don't even wanna know!!

LOL, at least he's a healthy smart beautiful boy, and I love the heck outta him

Eeyuuuu! Me too! All but one of my cats is a female, & luckily, my male cat is not into that. I see enough of that from the old patients I take care of in the hospital where I work!
