@Sheofthrone3 several members have cool Catios! Look forward to pics!
Make sure to always have a routine to inspect it for an loose screening material .
I would still be present to supervise to ward off kitty thieves amd and possibility of a loose dog going thru the screen . Not to be a Debbie downer but I personally had to go to a call where a loose dog went thru a lanai screen after a kitty . So always err on the side of caution . Milne love the pool lanai but I do bring them in if can’t be there .
Because a freak thing ..I had two hawks break thru my pool lanai screen when I was not home.. kitties were inside the house .
I walked in the house and looked out the sliding door - shocked to see the pair sitting on my patio furniture inside the lanai!
So personally no more unsupervised free roaming for my crew.
Just something to keep in the back of your mind .
I even had neighs kids and their friends walk-by the neighborhood inquiring about my cool kitty In the lanai - then I found them lurking sneaking around a little too interested for my comfort level .
(Had my rabbit stolen years ago by schoolmate- I played pet detective and got him back several miles away !)

Btw , how is the house plants coming along ? Opal Jean needs her own special closet for her adorable outfits :)

Oh yes. There will be a door lock inside the house so I can keep her inside when we aren't out there with her. Luckily we are at the very end of a dead end road with not much around us people wise. So I'm hoping we won't have too many people that know about her around us. But I will be keeping an eye on her because you can just look at a Sphynx and know it's worth money.

I have many plans for her in our new home plans. I am going to be building boxes for our decorations and stuff in the living room, dinning room, and kitchen that will also have carpet on too of them and a ledge so opal can jump on them and other boxes that will be empty and have holes so she can navigate up and down the walls and have cat walks along the ceiling for her. And we have a big master closet so part of that will be her area for her clothes and stuff.

This tie out is awesome! Now she can safely explore a bit further on our walks! This was at the rest area in Tennessee. Got lots of loves from some really nice people and got to explore a bit. She's loving this warm weather!

Today we took our walk break in Russell Kansas. We are headed to Denver Colorado then to Kent Washington. We started this trip in Calhoun Georgia.

Today I put Opal in a tree for the first time. It wasn't very high so she would've been fine if she jumped but I stay right there so she wouldn't. She seems to like being up there but she could chase bugs from there. Lol

Stopped in Bliss Idaho today.
This lead is awesome. It gives her more room to explore and stuff but also keeps her at a distance that I can still grab her up for whatever reason. Wish I could post videos. I got a couple of her jumping over stuff. One she didn't make it all the way and landed right into the high grass.
Also, I finally got a video of her standing up yo give me a kiss. She does it sometimes.
These walks have really been good for us. We bond over it, get some sun and exercise, get to explore and take cute photos, and it lets her be more than just a in the truck cat.

I just think it's fantastic to see all those different states. I'm in South Florida so I have to drive 7 hours just to get to the Georgia line LOLOL!
I'm from Central Ohio so we had a ways to drive to get anywhere. Lol but now I live ok thw boarder of Alabama and Tennessee so I have to cross state lines to go to the bank
