Osiris has Diarrhea

So I’ve had Osiris for about 6 weeks now and we got our first case of Diarrhea. I started to give him pumpkin purée as I ready it can help. My question is should I monitor it myself for a bit to see if he improves? Or should I go see the vet asap? He’s drinking water fine and his energy and demeanor have not changed.

Do you know the cause of the diarrhoea? If it was something they've eaten I'd try the pumpkin and see how it goes. If, however, the cause is unknown, or the pumpkin didn't work, I'd consult a vet.

Great advice was given. Have you changed food/treats by chance?

No change in food or treats. Same food I’ve been feeding since I got him

@Osiris1017 , checking in on sweet Osiris? hows things today? you can always ask your vet if you can drop off a stool sample to check. is he maybe getting some more treats for all his adorableness? you can check with food too to see if they changed ingredients. sharing, I have had dog food worked all the time, until I checked manufacturers website and found ingredient changes that were not updated on online retailers sites. just brainstorming.. hugs n positive vibe head smooches
