Our sweet boy left way too early

I still can't believe it...
Our sweet baby Willem passed away very sudden and unexpectedly today.
He started panting and having trouble breathing so we rushed him to the emergency vet but they couldn't save him anymore...
He wasn't even 2 years old yet and we only had him for 2 months or so. It is way too soon for him to go.
We're getting his ashes and a pawprint as a memory keepsake soon hopefully.
Saying goodbye and leaving him behind at the clinic is the hardest thing we ever had to do

Our girl didn't get along with him that well yet but she must be so confused now... i wish we could tell her..

I miss him so much, he was the sweetest boy I've ever met. And he left an enormous hole behind in our life...

Rest in peace our sweet baby boy. You were so SO loved.
I can only hope you were happy and didn't suffer too much in the end.

it really means a lot.

originally we adopted Willem mainly to get Saoirse a friend, cuz she was a bit of a menace. And it did help, all behavioral problems we had w her were gone.
Saoirse is slowly gaining some of them again (lots of yelling for attention mostly) but she's also way more cuddly and sits with us more often and enjoys pets more often. I'm so thankfull she's still here and she helps us get trough it. ;u;
