So my dog Nelson had been staying with my ex for awhile but now he is back at my apartment. They had met before and things seemed to go fine but now Peaches seems to hate him. The dog seems a little freaked out when she starts hissing at him:Surprise:. He will be laying there just sleeping and she starts hissing for no apparent reason. She also just hides in her blankets all the time and doesn't come out as much as she does when he's not around. The dog hasn't shown any aggression towards her except for a snarl once or twice when she starts hissing batting at his face when he walks by. He's mostly just interested in her food and her bottom!

Do you guys think she will ever adjust to Nelson? I was hoping they could be cuddle buddies. :Dizzy:

I think this relationship just needs a little time. Before you know it they'll be snuggling and you'll be reaching for the camera.

I believe in time they will reach an understanding, they may never cuddle, but I am sure they will at least be able to live peacably togather

Yes this is normal behavior when two new animals meet, eventually they will become use to each other. They may not be best friends and a hiss and a growl here and there but they will live amongst each other. Hopefully they will become buddies!

I agree with everyone else....with time and patience I'm sure they'll learn to get along in the best way they can.
