I've been trying to convert our sphinx girl to raw diet this week. I know it may take some time but so far she does not like ground turkey at all but will pick at and periodically finish a chicken breast meal (both mixed with supplements).

I have tried adding broth to both and she nixed them, then I added some of her canned food in with the chicken+supplement and that is when she will eat at least some of it. It's hard to not become a bit disheartened or worried for her lack of nutrition while trying to convert her to raw when she is not finishing her meals. I am not terribly worried of her malnutrition just yet as she is honestly a little more round than I would like... but I still don't want her to starve or become dehydrated.

Any suggestions other than fortiflora, broth, adding canned food? I have tried in the past to give her venison and she had absolutely no interest in it just like the turkey. She loves tuna but I know that is not a sustainable every day meal... Please help with more suggestions! Thank you!

Perhaps @Xandria will jump in, she is a raw feeder and may have some tricks up her sleeve. :)

You can sprinkle something on the raw food - one thing that works great is Temptations cat treats. You have to mash them; you can put them in a ziploc bag and use a meat mallet to crush them. Sprinkle it on top of the food you want them to eat. The smell gets them. Believe it or not another thing that seems to work is cheese, like what you sprinkle on pizza.
