Your welcome....onions and garlic isn't good either....
Onions contain a substance (N-propyl disulphide) which destroys red blood cells in the cat, causing a form of anemia called Heinz body anemia. Garlic contains a similar substance in a lesser amount.

Thanks for the info, wasn't aware of this.

I guess stray cats in Italy are in big trouble around dumpsters. :Surprise:

Teeka is not a big fan of eating human food. However, before we are allowed to eat in peace, both my BF and I must present our plates to The Princess and allow her to inspect. Once she has satisfied herself that there is nothing she wants, we're then allowed to proceed with dinner.

She will occasionally eat a few little bites of cheese, or sliced ham. She once nibbled on a Cheeto that I dropped on the floor. I think she liked the cheesy flavour.

The one thing I can NOT do is leave an uncovered container of butter or margarine anywhere that she can get ... That is her only 'can't resist' food.
