(Copied and pasted from my FB post yesterday) How the heck am I supposed to keep my T. rex from JUMPING after her spay?? I just got her home and she’s all over the place HELP!!!!!!! She has her suit on but it makes her more clumsy so idk if im doing her a favor or making it worse for her….

UPDATE!!!!! She seems to be overall doing well. I can tell she’s more sore today and she makes little low growls at me when I checked on her incision so I assume that was a “DONT TOUCH ME RN” in kitty growls. I gave her the pain pill this morning at 7am and she seems to be settled down now and sleeping. A thing I have noticed she she seems very warm, idk if that’s related to surgery or if it’s from her onesie being cozy. QUESTION: should I be concerned? she seemed to have trouble peeing yesterday it took her a long time to finally try to pee and when she attempted the first few times she would just make an uncomfortable sounding meow and run off out of the litter box. She did finally pee but it didn’t seem like a lot. She has peed this morning but again it didn’t look like a lot or perhaps im overthinking. Another QUESTION: how long did it take for your baby to heal/ how long do I need to keep the suit on and keep her confined to my room? (Shes confined in here with me and I’ll be with her around the clock till Monday morning when im supposed to return to work.) will it be too soon for me to return to work on Monday? My partner works from home and will be taking calls in her room from 7-6pm and I’ll be home at 4:30. Im worried to leave her on Monday while I work. Do I need to take off an additional day? Im am overthinker. OCD is raging right now with so many thoughts on what could go wrong. Im adding to this now the day after and she has slept mostly today and im afraid she will not sleep through the night. She only has two more pain pills. Should I call and request more from the vet on Monday? I have a pet camera on her at all times and she’s confined to my bedroom I just am very scared to mess something up.

Its been over a decade when my first was spayed
Vet sent her home no cone, no donut, np recovery suit. I kept yoda in my bedroom with bathroom litterbox, hers low profile not a top entry style. Got lucky she never licked at spay incision ( i sent pic to my vet for how shw thought it was healing).. it wasnt easy to keep her from jumping on dresser, bzthroom cointertop. I put warm blanjet from dryet on my bed to encourage sleeepy time or on her fav bed on the floor that was actually a dog brd. She did fine was up and aboit in a few days full recovery no issues

Hugs n speedy recovery Vibes
I often had to gently pick her up off dresser and put her on a.blankie. thought i qas gping to jsve a heart attack the first teo days wth her wanting to jump
