Hi everyone:
In January 2020 I had asked the question if anyone liked postcards and if so I would send them some. I had plans to travel to Amsterdam, Faroe Islands, and Denmark that year and then Covid hit and the world stood still. I had some people say they would be interested in postcards so I have been sending some from Alberta where I live. I have made a few trips to the mountains but quite frankly postcards are becoming scarce! So rather than sending the same postcards over and over I will stop now. I have enjoyed connecting with you. Thanks everyone and here’s hoping we will be able to start travelling again soon!

very nice and heartwarming too .
I used to live in Colorado loved the mountains.
my beloved dad was a train conductor in NY . I always remember the train rides. think of him everyday when I hear the train go by nearby.
ps.. the elk /deer in the background.. when my dad passed away I found a disposable camera. had it developed and one of the pics was him in the Colorado mountains , estes park to watch the elk.
goosebumps here.

ps.. do you know what kind of bird is in the postcard? love birds!

@Annejo12 , awh, thank you! what a nice surprise ! got your postcard today! it was perfect:) made me smile. we had some wind gusts here on the east side of florida from hurricane Debbie on the west side along with rain. I went outside and one of my plumeria branches about 3 foot long snapped off :(

I am taking the leaves off, letting it dry out harden for a few days and use clonex liquid rooting hormone to repot and see if it survives.


biggest hugs n head smooches to Raphael. you made my day! some of my plants look said today from the wind and rain.

you must have ESP :)

@Annejo12 , my only mail today was your gorgeous postcard of the gardens. I felt like I could smell the flowers and take in the spectacular gardens on a walk. a nice moment of peace when I received and read your postcard. surely a wonderful time with your sister. hugs n head smooches. have a beautiful day team Raphael. we certainly do not have those gardens here in Florida. I used to enjoy the japanese garden walks in Seattle. I was trying to upload photo with resizer. will try again

Glad you enjoyed the postcard! It was nice to be amongst the flowers there while we still have snow here! And it was great to be there with my sister.

I’m glad you liked it. We had a fun day at the zoo with an old high school friend of my husband’s and his daughters and grandchildren. I don’t make it to the zoo often but I do like to see the animals when I do.

(they usually have a rack near customer service). I got the response of deer in headlight look, and y0ung person asked me "what is a postcard"? lol

I am finding it harder and harder to find postcards! I find when I send postcards they don’t always get delivered. I have a grandson who likes to tease me about a postcard he never received from two years ago. Lol

A trip to the mountains is always fantastic! Glade your postcard made it to you!

I haven’t seen post cards in ages!! We were actually at a botanical gardens a few weeks ago in Florida and I always get a magnet every where we go and they did not have a single one there!!! I was so disappointed!
