I try to clean George's litter box after every BM.(unless I am at work or school) Since he has been quarantined due to getting giardia I bought a three story kitty cage for him; which he loves. Every morning when I go to his cage his blankie has been pulled into his litter box. His blanket is getting worn from the daily washings. He currently uses a litter pan, so we decided to put a hooded box in his cage also. He pretty much ignores the hooded litter box unless he is laying on top of it.... I dont want to take his blankie away. Any ideas on getting him to stop doing this?

Sounds like he thinks the litter box is his bed! Try putting A small pet bed in the kitty cage on the opposite side from the litter, I think he is looking for A safe warm comfy spot to sleep:ThumbsUp: Good Luck

If you figure it out can you let me know. Meecho always puts her favorite fuzzy toy in her food dish. I can only imagine that she was playing and would decide to eat and since fuzzy was in her mouth she would just drop it there. Either that or she figures the safest place for it is where her food is

Our one dog trouble always leaves his toys next to the toilet (where he drinks from) I guess he plays so much he gets thirsty & leaves them there.
