I've heard so much talk of including pumpkin in sphynx diets in forums that I have to ask - what sort of pumpkin are you feeding your sphynx?
Especially now that it's out of season - can I find it jarred (as I've heard canned isn't good to feed them) or is raw the best/only way to go?
Do you peel the skin or serve it as is?
I want to start including it in Godiva's diet as a treat of sorts but I want to go about it the right way

canned pumpkin is usually used in diets to help the tummy.
to keep Tut's belly happy and his stool firm I give him a probiotic and have been very happy with it!

Pure pumpkin from the can is fine. Pumpkin pie filling from the can is not.

Canned pure pumpkin is great to have on hand when your kitty is constipated or has runny poop (typically the latter). Some of us open a can and divide into smaller bits for the freezer, to take out and thaw as needed.
