Hello everyone, I am new here I found the forum while trying to find some info about a rash on the rear legs of my Miya-Sotz. My local vet doesn’t seem to have much experience with Sphinxes.
When I mentioned that she needed regular baths she said she never heard anything of the sort, and recommends “Vet Soothe” wipes to use on her skin. I use them once and noticed her skin very dry, so I didn’t use them any more since about a month an a half.

I just been on holidays and Miya was looked after by a friend but she appeared to have produced too much oil while I was away, on my return I used one of those wipes to take some of the excess oil off, and she was anyway having a bath the next day, I didn’t noticed anything at the point but when I bathed her the next day I noticed a rash on her back legs, not sure if they were there before or were caused by the wipes.

Anyway the first photos are from Tuesday, I sent the to the vet and they said he rash should go away on its own. I went to work for a few days and just returned home today, (she stays with my other half) and I think the rash is growing, she seems to have some on her tummy too (last 3 photos are from today), any ideas?

@Cleleu , I believe I found ingredients. says antifungal antibacterial.
do you see any improvement using the wipes? I know I use trizultra w/keto on skin and can take a week until I see improvement

Chlorhexidine & Climbazole, Tris EDTA, Zinc Gluconate, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin
ingredients :

have you changed laundry detergent? fabric softener?

Hi lovely no changes at all, I am not using the wipes now, as I was worry they were the cause (that was the only think I used new), I am using water wipes (baby range) and itchy skin balm ( 30ML Cat & Dog Itchy Skin Relief Instantly Soothe Cracked Itchy Skin And Paws - Anti-fungal Cruelty Free Formula - Best Grooming For Dogs | 100% Natural Dog Dry Skin Treatment | Itchy Dog Skin Relief https://amzn.eu/d/gGfi74o )

It seems to be improving now, I also ordered anicura cat gel ointment
( https://anicura.co.uk/collections/best-sellers/products/cat-gel ) but tia haven’t arrived yet.
