Peach is extremely affectionate and wants cuddles all day long if it was up to him. He also dreams of playing outdoors to hunt birds and chipmunks (he has only had a few opportunities to do so due to safety) and he also loves to sunbathe.
He has learned a lot of sentences like “Peach are you hungry?” to which he will come sprinting to you. And “peach do you want cuddles?” to which he will also sprint to you!
Peach is good with cuddly dogs and friendly cats - but cats he has met are not as nice to him back so we are hesitant to put him in a home with another kitty.
Health issues :
Peach has irritable bowls and chronic constipation. It’s been a long road at the vet to figure it out but with specific kibble and with daily laxative and psyllium husk he has been stabilized. So he must be kept on the same food and medication for the rest of his life.
Behavioral : Peach has learned to use the human toilet but he always drags his bum afterwards and seeks out a couch or carpet or bed to do so. He will also have a solid poop accident outside of the toilet about once a week (couch, bed or rug).
we adopted him almost six years ago but sadly we are unable to keep him with a toddler at home and a special needs dog and Peach isn’t getting the attention he needs to be his happiest. We love him dearly and want to make sure we find him a perfect home where he will thrive. You would be his third home.
