CAKED UP IN LOVE!
It’s been nearly 2 months since Minka joined our family. Before she arrived, I fancied that she would be Kenzo’s sister. However, the moment they met, it quickly became apparent that they were LOVERS!
During her quarantine period, Kenzo would lay outside her door for hours, crying for me to open it, and pawing underneath to reach her. When they finally were united, Kenzo purred like mad and welcomed her with love & licks. {= For nearly two weeks, he would not take his eyes off of her!
Ever since that first day, they’ve been joined at the hip! They spend countless hours cuddling, grooming, and playing with each other. They are far too connected & affectionate to be siblings. We joke that Kenzo thinks we got Minka exclusively for himself! )(

My two from the same litter are very close . We added a new little girl almost a year later. Niko the male loved her right away but Letty his sister was not happy. Hissing went on for about a month or two and now they all play and cuddle together

Oh I love this!! Ours is definitely complicated by far. I’ll start with my boys. They MOSTLY love each other. I refer to Yoda as our gentle giant, he’s very loving and accepting of almost everything. He doesn’t really mind much about anything. Finn loves to cuddle Yoda when it’s on his terms. If I have Yoda under a blanket in my lap, and Finn climbs in, I swear he gets jealous because he will beat up Yoda until he leaves the cave! Yet sometimes they will cuddle and share the cave. Finn really is a little menace and loves to bug my other two. Now Raven, when she came along she came hissing and swatting a storm. I say she could sense that she was related to Finn, as she took to him much quicker then Yoda. Her and Yoda are still frenemies. They will size each other up, and hiss and swat. Then sometimes I catch them chasing after each other playing. I think they secretly have a crush. When it comes to cuddling on mom, all differences are put aside and they share me.

Its' complicated...
Shazam loves little Rora. But then again, Shazam loves absolutely everything. Every cat he's ever met, whether it be my 13 year old girl, the girl that was the same age as him, my Fierce Ziva the Diva, or my sweet and precious kitten Freya. loosing all three of them didn't dampen his open and loving heart and he loves Rora just as much. He loves my roommates, the maintenance man, anyone that comes over, the two week old abandoned kitten that my mom brought home, the stray cat my dad was feeding, the mice that go into my dads place (Sadly in that case his love was murder. he was quite confused)... the point is, Shazam loves EVERYTHING. he's such a wonderful guy. Unfortunately for him, every female cat he's met had the same reaction upon meeting. A hiss and a slap to the face when he got to close. they warmed up to him with time. Rora... she's the complicated one. while she does love Shazam, he gets on her nerves at times as well. I don't disagree with her, after all, the big oaf has no concept of personal space, and if someone is in his spot, well he's gonna just have to sit ontop of you. he has no idea that he's a whopping 12.5 lbs (and the vet cleared him as no longer overweight, he's just my big ol' hefty boy!) and that he cannot sit ontop of ladies that are smaller than him.
Sometimes, there is nothing but cuddles and lovin, which usually turns to biting when someone gets a bit to over eager in their allogrooming and the the fight starts. just the typical sphynx antics though, one wants to play while the other is sleeping, and then someone bites to hard and I have to get involved (heyo... this is why I tell my Dad I don't want kids. If cats are this much work how crazy would a toddler be? yikes)
But I love them, and when it comes down to it, they love each other... most of the time.

Siblings, best buddies, tolerating eachother and complicated!

My boys are sibling and used to be best buddies. Always cuddling together and playing in a gentle way. Where Ross was, there was Toa.

Lately I see their relationship changes. When Toa is sleeping, Ross comes to attack him. Biting him really hard so Toa yelps and runs of. At other moments they still cuddles but not so easily and trusty as they did before.

My girl Jade is a indepedent girl. She loves to be on her own. She and Toa get along fine. She gives him a nose kiss from time to time or sits next to him. She doesn't seek his company but tolerates a lot...

The relationship between Jade and Ross is complicated. They used to ignore eachother completly. When they acknoledge the other exist it was to chase eachother. Lately I see them sitting next to eachother some times and even carefully washing eachother...

@Cinderstar95 Aww, Shazam sounds a lot like my bull-boxer, Boogie. Gentle giant, who’s only fault is loving too much! {} He’s 70 lbs, and thinks he’s a lap dog. Funny how the big boys are always just softies!

aint that the truth! he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. it backfires a bit on him on occasion. He almost started world war three with the stray my dad adopted. he was still gaining her trust and feedng her and she'd come to the porch every day and hang out. I had to stay with him for a month and a half to do a rotation for school by his place. Mr. Shazam saw mama kitty outside on the porch and of course had to look. When rora saw, she too came to look. no growls from the,m, only from mama cat who was not having it with these two nakids looking at her. Shazam in his infinite desire to love decided he needed a better look and stood up against the door, pushing it open and letting Rora out. I grabbed her cat hips at the last second before she picked a fight with an outdoor cat that she wasn't going to win. Quite the adventure. Mama has since moved in the house (She literally just decided one day that enough was enough, she was coming inside, and started pushing my dads door open to come in and sleep on his bed. Eventually she found a way to get in the house through a hole in the floor (Piping burst and had to be repaired)) so, no more nakids at his house, at least for now XD.

@Monica Fabulous thread and poll! It's been very interesting reading about all the different relationships :giggle:

My 2 boys are definitely siblings first and foremost and friends second. Butchie loved Vinnie from the moment he laid eyes on him, and at first he was the overbearing and bossy big brother, and we had to give him time-outs in the beginning when he pestered Vinnie too much.

As Vinnie has settled in and grown up the tables have turned a bit and he'll get the better of Butchie, who has a very gentle and laidback nature. If Vinnie wants to play with a toy, Butchie will let him have it, they have 2 dry food bowls, but if Vinnie goes to eat from the bowl Butchie is eating from, he will back down and let him have it.

They love to play and will stalk, chase and pounce on each other, and will mock fight and squabble for fun on the couch. When it comes to snuggling though, that's not something they do! Butchie loves to snuggle in under the blanket with mommy or daddy, but if Vinnie gets under it too it will only lead to bickering! Wonder if that will change at some point... hope so! {=

My trio.... The girl Siiri (the oldest) is the loner who owns the house. She loves the middle brat, Ville, and takes care of him. The new addition, Esso, not so much. He gets hisses on a daily basis. When it happens, Ville gets in the middle like a diplomat and then they all just get along. Mostly they are like siblings but when you find them together, there's Ville, in the middle, like a bridge between Esso and Siiri. Love all your wonderful pics in this thread!

It's complicated but in a very cat way.

My sealpoint girl usually likes her space. If she's sleeping, don't bother her. My white boy has figured that out and he's only been here 3 months. He sits next to her. But then there's my crazy white girl who likes to sit on top (for warmth I guess). Usually hissing ensues, but sometimes it's OK as in this picture.

Mine come from different litters, but they're very much siblings. They snuggle, they can get on each other's nerves, but they hate it when they have to be apart.
