Is it truly conjunctivitis? What color eye discharge and how often after it clears does it start again? What prescriptions/eye drops or ointments have you been giving?

Could it be feline herpes? Have you tried l-lysine?

I do not believe recurring conjunctivitis is common and more likely it is not fully going away or is caused by an underlying condition like the herpes, URI or even entropion

It was a yellow "sleep" weepy swollen in one cat treated with Conoptal.

The other cat has dark brown stringy weepy "sleep" treated with optichlor eye ointment by ilium.

Both now have the brown/clear mucus weepy eyes and being treated with Conoptal.

Vet has done the bright light and stain testing no ulcers or herpes.

Brownish/orange eye boogers Akeem to be a regular thing with the breed. The weepy part does not sound normal. I have no experience with the meds you have been given. Will say I found eye ointment tended to work better than drops because they can't shake them out right away. Maybe you can show us a pic of their eyes.
