Rotating cat illusion

Found this on Yahoo and for the life of me couldn't figure it out. Then it hit me! Weird.

This cat can be perceived as rotating in either direction. With practice, you can make it switch at will!

I was practicing with it last night! Yesterday I was able to get it to switch, but tonight I can't! So frusturating!

I couldn't get it to switch earlier today but now I can flop it back and forth at will. Weird.

This took me a while to get. For those still having trouble see if this works for you. Look at the rotating cat while holding a finger about 8-10 inches from your eyes slightly lower than the direct line of the cat image. Now focus on your fingertip, barely looking at the cat in the background until the cat changes direction.

OK I am totally weirded out now it works and I can switch them at will. I just had to cross my eyes and then flick one of them and the image flipped. I am sototally stealing this and showing it off at work tomorrow...hope that's ok!

Ok so now I am dizzy only goes one way and I feel sick. I just can't get it to change?

Yea I can't get it to switch either. It only goes from the right to the left,,clockwise I guess...Sooooooo what does it mean???? lol

Oh this thing is driving me crazy too! I've been "practicing" and still can't get it to switch on command. It just turns clockwise for me....

I made it work!!! Which is amazing cos since my eye operations i find it difficult to do a lot of visual illusions

Weird,,I looked at it again tonight and it was going left to right,,opposite from last night and I managed to get it to change once or twice. *Insert Twilight zone theme song here*
