hey, its me again :)
I need an advice.
when i got my two kitten 3 weeks ago, oskar was the weak porcelain doll... since tilda got so very ill a week later, oskar catched up in growth and strengh. It seemed as if he was leeching her life-energy haha

tilda had puking an diarreah and she lost weight, looking like a skeleton. for 4 days everything was fine again and she geined weight pretty fast but the illness got her again 3 days ago since the antibiotics were not given long enough.
shes fine now and gained back the weight from when i got her (what is not enough, since they are babies and growing every day - 15 weeks old)
well i think she is strong but oskar is so very rude and playing wildly with her.
she wants to play too, but i often think she cannot handle his strengh.
when she got ill we often took oskar away from her and played with him roughly ourselves but now i dont want to do it anymore. she has to learn how to defend herself.

she's often growling and hissing at him pretty badly. but since they are sphynx i know they tend to talk.
I think she became a little singing diva. sometimes she does it, when he's only playing with her tail.

what do you think? any experiences?
I know i cannot do anything about it when im at work, but still im wondering since my boyfriend wants to save her from crazy oskar.

I trade this snapshot for an advice haha

Kittens will be kittens and its natural behavior to rough house. If Tilda is back on track to being healthy as you said, she will need to fend for herself. If she is perhaps still a bit ill and under weight you may want to separate them until she is completely nursed back to health. Also, as long as there are no severe "battle wounds" their probably ok to tango. :D

I agree...as long as they aren't hurting each other, they will work it out. If he is being too rough, she will let him know. That is, of course, provided she is now healthy,

I agree with Admin. As long as she truly is healthy she will learn. She does look petite compared to her brother. Are there any places she can go, not to hide, but to feel safe ? Even a small covered bed or a box on its side she can scoot in and turn and not feel like he is always behind her.

hey, thanks :)
ya shes okay now i think.
sometimes when he gets too rough i have tilda growling and jowling, so i take my hand between them to calm down the game.
right after she jumps him again. thats why i think she might be a little diva.

seperating was not an option for me. when she was seriously ill he became more calm and gentle for support but sometimes he cannot tame his spirit i think.
theres also the difference between a soft game and a rogh game haha
my hand learned that today. they scratch and bite but very gently, not hurting me. but oskar went to "kill the pray" modus, bit and scratched me pretty hard. so i can imagine being a furless cat and treated like this, i woulde growl and hiss too haha

injuries didnt occur so far. they had minor scratches but already healed when i found them.

They need to figure out who's the "boss" in their relationship so it's best to let them be and not interfere. Unless they're really hurting each other, they'll be fine. The growling and hissing is normal, especially if she still feels a little weak and isn't up for rough housing at every moment. Lucifer hisses at Samael too if he wants him to leave him alone!

I have a sister and brother and my boy was a big nag to his sister, she let him know herself what she will tolerate. Your girl will get her point across to him!

My boys are at it right now lol, ive just took a quick photo, until we got Blue our other cat really thought he was a dog, now they fight like cat & dog haha, never once tho has the biting & hitting scratched them, suppose boys will be boys, at first i was scared fifa might hurt Blue because he was so tiny & delicate but he gives a lot more than he gets, especially about 10pm-ish they go mental up & down the stairs !!!
