Bixler is almost a year old and has always been extremely tiny. I got him at about 8 weeks old (the breeder was not very good and it’d be best to take Bixler out of his hands). He’s always had a huge appetite but threw up profusely. He’s stopped throwing up after about 6 consistent months of it and he still has a huge appetite. We’ve taken him to vets and all they say is that it might just be his diet but they don’t really say there’s anything truly wrong or anything harmful happening to him. I believe he could be a runt and i found that today he’s been having a hard time breathing. I worry for him and his size for how old he is. The last image is a size comparison of Bixler and his brother who is from the same litter.

Being that he is almost a year old, I would get a echocardiogram done. Not trying to scare you, but when you say breathing issues I’d see if it is heart related. This breed has unfortunately been having issues with HCM and it is great to get a heart scan at 1 year of age for a baseline. As far as the throwing up, does your baby usually throw up after eating quickly? Slow feeder bowls are a great tool to use door those that “scarf & barf” here are some examples…you can see a huge variety on Amazon

@bixlerdiaz22 , my boy Toby is much smaller than my Batman or other male sphynx I have seen.

***checking in for updates about his breathing.. have you taken him to the vet? I would for peace of mind. my one boy had HCM cough/breathing issues, and Toby love had a cough that turned out to be reverse sneezing seasonal allergies.

can you describe his breathing? I took a video of their breathing to take with me to the vet appointment and asked vet to take a good listen to the heart for any murmurs . vet can show you how to count his breathing respirations too

please keep us updated often. hugs n positive vibes.
