:Celebrate: Lulu is finally out of the bathroom prison!

She is settling in quite nicely.
Moody, my male Van, is quite enthralled with her...
I think he's got big plans.
 No, Moody!

I just posted a new album--with 3 or 4 more new pics--it's called "Lulu Settles In" if anyone wants more.

Thank you to share the pictures with us, then I realized that Ole Sphynx needs more than one companion.

When you get a new cat you should keep them isolated from your other cats for a week or so until you make sure the new cat isn't carrying some illness that will hurt the other cats in your household.

I'm glad to hear that Lulu is settling in nicely. Is she spayed?

No, I bought her to breed---but not with Moody. She is going to be bred with Boo--but not for quite awhile yet. Lots to do before they are ready to breed. She's too young and needs some screening done before then.

Yes! That's the hardest part, isn't it??

When I got Nelson and Mandy, they came from the SPCA (germ central) and then had been at a cattery for a few weeks so I kept them in my spare bedroom for 2 weeks before I let Walter and Helen meet them. It was tough - I so desperately wanted to let them out and let the bonding begin! It was definitely a test of my patience. But, you're right, totally necessary!

I haven't up til now...but might think about it in the future. I was injured in a head-on car accident 7 yrs. ago which left me with an enormous hernia (half my abdominal wall pulled away from my pelvis) and walking for much of any distance is difficult for me. There are a lot of things to carry--cages, etc. that I am not certain I could handle it all. I would like to go to watch one sometime--maybe I would find I could do it.
Thank you for the lovely compliment about my cat kids--I think they are pretty special, but of course I do--I am their mom!
