Hi all my baby Juno is two years old she a month or two ago started having this weird rash on her chest and neck and legs. It’s not raised and or bumpy or dry or flakey, or red or open. she does not over groom spots and she does not seem in any distress and is eating and drinking just the same. At first I thought maybe It was oil build up since I had begun to trial bathing her every week and a half but I’ve been washing her once a week and even with baths they don’t seem to really go away. She’s due for a bath tomorrow so she’s a little oily in these pics. We have her anual vet appointment in two months maybe three but wondering if maybe anyone here has any idea of what it could be ? Her cat tower is near a window and she does sleep on a heated blanket but recently lowered the heat more on case it was a heat rash but it’s still unchanged. Haven’t switched her food or anything. Any thoughts ? Thanks !

@AlbertoMp3 , do you use a scented litter? pellet litter? some can get yeasty from walnut litters, worlds best etc.
members will surely chime in. can ask vet about skin scraping to rule out yeast or bacteria.

hugs n head smooches to you and Juno. keep us updated often. all paws are family.

It does look a bit yeasty to me too. How does it look right after a bath?

Yes after a bath it looks a million times better our appointment is in early February and she’s chillin but it bothers me to see it come back a couple days later but using Chlorahexadine once a week and it’s helped !
