I have been trying so hard to get this on video but I can't seem to get it, but I had to share it anyway. One of the games I play with Meecho is I hide her toy under pillows or the blanket so she needs to hunt for it and dig for it. I'm trying to keep her on her toes. Well she loves this game so much that she will play it by herself if I don't do it for her. How you may ask. Well she carries her toy to the door and drops it there and pushes it underneath and then takes a dive for the door so she can look underneath it and try to get her toy. Well the other day she was doing this and she realized the toy was to far to reach, so what did she do? She went around the door, picked up her toy and dropped it a little closer to the door. Looked at it and when she was satisfied she ran back around the door and took a dive for it like before. Now I always knew she was smart and probably give her a whole lot more credit then an animal really deserves, but man for her to have the sense to know how to solve her problem made me put her on the Einstein level of cats. That and the fact that she just started to potty training saturday night and she's already ready for the next disk!! Boy my baby is growing up sooooo fast. She is also getting to understand that when I put her in bed and point at her and say "bedtime" she actually lies down and goes to sleep. Now staying asleep all night is a different thing, but atleast she's getting there.
Oh yeah and her 1st birthday is next week and for some reason I'm at a loss as to what to do for her. I don't want to throw a party or anything, but I want her to know that it is her special day and acknowledge it somehow. Any ideas?
