One of my Sphynx has sores on her front legs. They seem to be the worst during the summer months. She licks at them and they are dark and patchy. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? She’s not on any medications and receives baths about every 1.5 weeks with wiping down in between. I haven’t changed any of her bathing supplies or food. I have included 2 pics.

It looks yeasty you me. It could very well be that. The other possibility is hot spots since you say it happens in Summer.

Thanks! My vet isn’t too familiar with Sphynx so she didn’t have much of a solution for me. Any cream and she just licks it off

Is the skin getting thicker and rough? It looks a bit like something our dog got a few years ago called a lick granuloma. What happened was something had irritated his skin and he kept licking it and although the original cause was no longer there his rough tongue was now irritating that patch so he kept licking to try to clean it and so it went on. I may be well off track but its worth considering. Good luck in finding the cause and getting it sorted.
