My cat who hasn’t throw up since I got him, recently threw up 3 times. He is 1 years old, turning 2 soon. He threw up again about a week after the 1st time and about 3 days the third time. What could be wrong with him. He never eats grass because I know that makes them throw up. I have him on hills prescription food because he had diarrhea when he was younger, but he’s been eating that for awhile now with no problems.

@calvink93 , any chance he got into something and swallowed? check mouth to see if anything there, string, etc from toys? household holiday decorations? dental floss ? ( I have to take dental floss in a separate trash)
any change of food? treats? hugs n positive vibe head smooches, following closely for updates, all paws are family. have you called the vet to run it by them?

It’s food that he’s growing up. It’s not a lot though. He has an appointment next month so I can ask the vet to check him then, but he hasn’t throw up since the last time so I don’t think it’s anything serious. I also saw someone else post that greenies dental treats made their cat throw up. I recently started feeding him those, so that may be the problem.

Very interesting. My Biscuit has been throwing up. We chose Royal Canin Dental for Toni and Biscuit because we cant brush the Biscuit’s remaining teeth after stomatis. Last night after she threw up in the middle of the night i was feeling around Foxy’s renal support food to see if the dental was maybe too hard for Biscuit to navigate. Didnt seem so but I ordered 12+ for her and will not let her and Toni eat together…..just maybe dental formulas can present problems.
