Hey guys, as some of you know my gotcha day is the 8th! I'm curious about where you all get clothes(sweaters and shirts) for you little nakids? I've been told by my kittens breeder that Sphynx can be hard to find a good fit for, so if you have any suggestions i'd love to check out some sites!

I havnt gotten any specific sphynx sweaters, but I did put up a dog sweater. It is a bit too wide but it is really easy to fix. My girl is also almost s year old so she's a bit bigger

For a DIY version, I have seen people use socks and arms of old sweaters. They cut out the shape and arms holes and they have a little sweater.

I bet someone else will have suggestions of actual places to buy sweaters :) the 8th is so close!! So exciting

Great advice from @Maddie. These guys grow so fast DIY sweaters are super when they are so tiny. I am sure others will PM you with some vendors in Etsy.

You can just buy the ones made for dogs.Make sure they're not too tight and not too loose.Your Sphynx may walk funny for a few minutes, but he/she will get used to it.Some never do.First time I tried clothes on Mao,he walked funny so we just took it off and never put them on again. If he got cold,he knew where to go:LOL::D

I thought a dog sweater might be too big but maybe a small or x-small would work. I think the sweater sleeve idea is cute, I may try that! And yes the date is so close, I can't wait!

I'm definitely gonna try some DIY sweaters since i'm sure she'll grow out of everything as soon as I get it on her!

Thank you for the info! I'll be buying some dog ones as well, maybe she can share with my Maltese-mix Daisy when she gets older!

@Danniej I've not found dog ones fit very well at all. They tend to be too short and too deep in the chest.......my Pepper is now 19 weeks old and a toy dog jumper is still a bit loose around her chest but now only covers half her back.
I've recently ordered some from Etsy (there's much more available for people in the US than in the UK) and have found the fit much better. They are specifically for Sphynx and many of the sellers will make them to order for no extra cost if given measurements. Definitely worth looking at.....here's Pepper displaying one of the recent purchases:

Thank you! I'll look into Etsy as well, I was afraid the dog ones would be an awkward fir but I am willing to try anything! Thank you for the info! Also, Pepper is absolutely ADORABLE! Such a little cutie.

@Danniej the one I found were sized by lenght, they are meant for little dogs, so they are narrow. It just needs to be taken in maybe half an inch between the legs, I sew so it doesn't bother me lol.
Definitely worth looking at etsy!

socks work great when small. Lots of cute fashion at pet shops and online like Amazon and Etsy. Also if like me i use baby clothes. Onsies i trim out the bottoms making room for their tail and clearing the potty parts. and sweaters i sometimes weave ribbon through in areas that are loose to snug them up. the toughest part i find is the neck as it is so tiny but usually easy to modify.
