I think this is a good place for this question... My breeder listed my little boy as a flame point kitty, but on his contract it now says he is a red tortie/fp male. I understand that she is acknowledging his "flame pointness" but can male cats be torties? I find the whole coloring thing very confusing, but is the tortie thing like the calico thing? Can only females be tortoiseshell?

This is a picture of my boy, Buster. I've always referred to him as two-toned. Have I been calling him the right thing?

My kitten Odis has some color changing eyes, I noticed when he is relaxed they are a turquoise and when he's hyped up they go all green. I am wondering if it will stay this way or change to just green. He is 5 months old. Do you know at what age they normally settle?

He has gray skin with white tips on his paws and a spot on his chest and on his chin! It's interesting his face looks almost brownish but it has darkened up a little since the top photo almost a month ago.

The last is when we first got him in early march at 12 weeks.. His eyes were a dark blue. It's all so interesting to see the different colors of sphynxs!

My Luci is classed as Tortoiseshell Tabby Patch.
That is a great description, but as far as I know, it only really describes the pattern.
Has anyone any idea what colour style Luci is ?

I think my Frida is a blue tortie. That's how my breeder described her anyhow. But I do notice that on the back of one of her ears is a dark brown/ black spot so I'm not totally sure.

I am not quite sure maybe like a cream color it's hard to tell with his naked fuzz! View attachment 47575
I'm pretty sure they call that flame point when they have orange extremities with mitted paws and cream body. My sis has a rag doll cat of this description that is called flame point. Colouring transcends breed

Also he is absolutely beautiful

In the US the black and orange with no white is tortoiseshell but her nose looks like a lynx color/type. But whatever the color she's a beauty!

This post really makes me think.... I was told Luigi is a "Lilac-Cream", even though that description never made sense to me! Does lilac cream exist?
