Sphynx Rash?

A friend of mine in Florida has a kitty that has had a rash for about a month. It's brown in color (the cat is blue).. it is apparently small rounded shapes all over the body for about a month now. It does not appear to be itchy or anything. Additionally, the cat seems to have light sniffles and elevated liver enzymes. Any ideas?

I'm wondering if it would have anything to do with Florida heat? The cat does not stay in the sun though.

Has the cat been tested for hyperthyroidism? This can cause elevated enzymes in a cat. It's a simple blood test. It would help with pictures of the spots, has the cat been tested and treated for worms? Pending the rash or spots it could be food allergies or litter allergies well. I would also recommend Lysine for the sniffles immediately. I would also have your friend see a vet for further testing and be sure all deworming , etc., has been done.

I'm curious what your friend's vet thought of the rounded brown rash. Besides the liver enzymes did the kitty have other blood work done?

All blood levels were fine. The only thing that stuck out was the liver enzymes.

The term "round brown" was from the owner.. not the vet. They appear to be fading over the past few days.

Skin rashes can be so difficult to pinpoint. Hopefully they will continue to fade and never return.
