I recently took my baby boy to the Vet and she mentioned that his teeth are stained and that she would look into reasons for this.
He is 3 months old. No problems biting or eating hard cat food. But his teeth have brown stains on them.
I spoke with the breeder who denied giving him or his mom a tetracycline antibiotic. Basically, no one knows why they are stained.
But my Vet is starting to worry me because she basically said that if his adult teeth come in stained, it may be due to an underlying cause that would involve a lot of expensive dental work.
My question is.... did your kittens have stained teeth? Or do your cats have stained teeth? Any particular reason why?
