I can’t believe it is that time of year again!!! I know Stephanie has been wonderful setting up the Holiday card swap in the years past. This year she has been taking some time off from the Lair to travel, study and just decompress, so I do not feel it is right to ask her to do it this year… I do know she is doing well!

I am going to try to make this as simple as possible…If you want to participate in the Holiday Card Swap, please MESSAGE me your full name/address by (November 25th) Please be sure it is in the correct format that should be on the envelope. Even if I already have your address, please send again so I can easily cut and paste and know you are onboard. Then by end of November 28th, I will message the entire list of addresses to every member who gave me their address.

All cards should be on their way to their recipients by December 10th for same country destinations and December 2nd for international. So start shopping for those holiday cards now!

You do not have to send a card to every member, but every year several always ask for all the addresses so I am trying to cut down on the back and forth message requests. Please keep in mind that some members are not in the US and that might cost a little bit more, but I don’t want them to feel left out. My hope is that all members get 2 or more cards. It is not a popularity contest…it is just a way to connect in a different way and to share holiday joy. Newbies you are always welcome…so PLEASE join in on the fun with this supportive community.

Again if you send me your address it means you are giving permission that I can share it with an other member that gives me their address. I will update here and there how many addresses I have gotten, but my guess is the total number is 15 or less..if it’s more wonderful!

It is so much fun! don't be shy. I joined here over a decade ago and the friendships are priceless!

We have 7 people total…I wrote that yesterday was the last day to send your address…well, let’s spread the joy and give an extra day to join. Today is that day…please message me your address if you want to join in the fun. Be sure it is in the format of how it needs to be written on the envelope.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to some of you. I just messaged everyone the addresses to send holiday cards out to those you can/want to. Also a reminder the cutoff date to send cards to those not in the US is December 2nd.
