So we had our lovely surprise arrive last week but our concierge wasn't open until yesterday.

I wanted to wait until Christmas, but Caber was pretty insistent about opening his box...

Surprised me because he never really seems that bothered by packages usually. I got out a box cutter and started...

With a little help from my friend.

He was very interested in this animal print thing, which turned out to be a little cat igloo! I've wanted one for ages!

Caber approved.

Next, a little tub of real dried tiny fish! These have been a massive hit as well.

He played with this toy for like 20 minutes.

Until he heard the rustle and rip of a packet opening...

A lovely few pics of Prince Caberton and his haul...

There was also some delicious liquorice for me, a beautiful plaque for the house (considering where to put it) and a few little treats for Caber's cousin Giggsy (old english sheepdog) which she will get when we go home next week.

The cherry on the cake for me was definitely the poem! Santa, your English and rhyming is amazing, there wasn't a single word out of place!

(So cool, I have to hang it up really HIGH because otherwise all I hear all night is Squeak-bash Squeak-bash...)
And the ladybug... it tickles when you bite the legs and carry it around!

Caber is most pleased that Lady Jez likes her mouse! He is also a big fan of things that squeak when you punch them. He has a rod with a squeaker mouse on it, but perhaps I should look into one of the door-hangy ones if it's such a big hit...

And I'm happy that the ladybug was a hit! I figured they can't really go and catch real bugs in this weather so hopefully that will suffice until the sun comes out again.

Our package arrived today and Orpheus was very excited about the box.

He was then curious about the bag and what it contained but was soon drawn back by the call of the new cardboard box!

First thing we got was a bag of these super delicious pretzels that are making think about relocating so I can get them once I eat them all. Orpheus was convinced they were treats for himself. He got a bag of catnip, chicken and cheese treats which he loved and I had to confiscate pretty quick so he would stop trying to open the bag haha

We also got a great little assortment of toys for him to play with. He loved the Lazer pointer and the catnip chewy dude. Wanted the mouse when I first opened it and now again is loving his box haha

So thank you so much Barrelstar for all the amazing gifts and thank you Nina for organising such a fun event. Definitely happy we decided to be apart of it and can't wait for next years

Also is don't mind the messy study. This is basically Orpheus' room and he makes sure we all know it! Haha

So I had a little bit of dilemma... I really wanted to wait for Christmas... But eventually opened it on the dutch Christmas eve, from which the Christmas you all know was derived from. It also helped a lot since Fae was very eager to open the box. I LOVE the stockings! They are so adorable! Also the mug, so cute! Thank you for the amazing presents!

Also I’m so grateful for this book! I’m a new cat owner and could use all the help I can get

All in all, a lovely Sphynxmas. So grateful to @nudieluvr for the toys and treats (her favorite ones so far are the Kitty Cravings!) you made Hildegard’s first Christmas very memorable!!
