hi all!

our girl, Saoirse, started getting some like little spots/bumps on her back a while ago. around the time it started getting really sunny and warm here.
I can feel them, so they are slight bumps, and some of them turn brown or kinda scab-like after a while and then go away. but new keep happening.
she doesn't seem itchy at all, nothing changed in her diet or our washing soaps etc. she's 5yo and it's only on her back and the back of the neck.
our other baby, Kimchi, doesn't seem to have it, but she also has more fuzz to maybe protect her a bit.

my wife thinks it's from sunbathing? I also get kinda bumpy skin in summer so that's why.
and I try to put shirts on her but nothing protects her neck and head. and I can't keep her OUT of the sun cuz all our windows here are full sunny side, ceiling to the floor

but I wanted to see if anyone here had any experience w this and maybe knows what it is exactly?
our vet wasn't sure the first time we showed them but I feel like they increased recently and I wanna go back again.
she also started getting these black spots behind her ears and it also looks rly dry there so I think we might need some cream or something for that. :(

@Rens, looks like the little prickle heat rashes? . my one gets sometimes from prolonged sleeping in blankies or some kitties get from clothing. I am not not a vet to diagnosis . I moved cat tree to indirect lighting. I don't use any creams on my crew . several of us keep on hand vetericyn spray, I like that it is non toxic.
members will surely chime in. sharing, some members install window film

Could be sun related, but could also be an allergic reaction. Cats can get allergies at any point in their lives even with things that never bothered them before including food. I would limit access to sun time and go from there before determining if it is an allergy.

Not sure at all, but mine had something that looks kinda similar—best comparison that came to mind at the time was 'just like beauty marks'. No redness, she wasn't scratching or overgrooming in those spots, no change to her behaviour, poop, food, habits in general... Just those spots on her back and flanks. People here said it may be due to heat (sunning or potentially from wearing clothes—my flat is well-insulated and even in winter, it heats up quickly).

The spots went away on their own within 5-6 weeks. The vet had no idea what they were, and I still don't either.
