I don't know if anyone has ever seen these or had them in your house, we have had them for the past few months they just showed up and now they seem to be worse and the cats love to catch them and play with them. I know they are harmless but if you squish them they stink BAD:tinysmile_eyebrow_t but it seems like the cats are eating them and when they do they vomit? I don't know what to do, and want to make sure this can't hurt them. It was only like once every week or so but the past 2 days it was 2 or 3 times? What do I do? Help!

Well they will not harm your cats if ingested (vomiting is normal after eating them); my suggestion would be to contact an exterminator because the pesticide that will kill them is toxic to cats. So i would consult an exterminator about further options with this, just to be safe. I will call some friends tomorrow & see if they have any suggestions for you!

I remember stink bugs. I used to play with them as a kid. I agree with Kerry. I'm pretty sure they're harmless. In fact, they're probably better than harmless. A little extra dose of protein. However, I wouldn't encourage ingestion. :tinysmile_grin_t:

I don't think I need a exterminator, they seem to go away on there own and don't want to chance any of our pets getting sick. Just wanted some thoughts on if the bugs can be harming them, glad to hear you guys think not, makes me feel better. :tinysmile_fatgrin_t

Oh that is so gross. I'm a total wimpy girl when it comes to bugs. I'm not the fastest runner, but you put a bug near me and you'll never catch me.
