My cat Lego has had stomatitis for awhile not. He's had teeth removal, steriod treatments, limited diets, etc., which nothing is working. We have limited resources for vets around here, I've gotten opinions from several and stuck with the one who knew about it, and it's to the point he's so unhappy. I guess what I'm seeking is advice from other people who have/had a cat that struggles/d with this and when they felt it was time to say their very hard goodbyes. It's definitely not something that treatment is managing at this point.

My Othie has it, all her teeth removed, but i get her a depo provera shot every 4-6 weeks. I dont need an appointment and they dont charge me an office visit. Just the shot for 31.60 a shot. So not too expensive and Othie comes back feeling like a kitten! Its really miraculous.

@MamaLego , oh sweetie sending you a big hug and positve vibes for Lego.
Hopeful others with more experiemce can chime in.

Is there a vet university in your state you can ask them about information /treatment ?
have you been referred to specialist or another vet for a second opinion?
Sometimes a fresh set of eyes can help to make the best informed decision.

A lair full of love and head smooches to sweet Lego

Will be following closely ((((((((((hugs))))))

@susi794 chimed in with great info about depo provera you can discuss with your vet
