Hey,
My partner and I are finally in a position to be able to add a Sphynx into out small family at the start of the new year and I am doing as much research into their care as possible, because it's the only thing keeping me sane while I wait haha.
My main question was for sun safety since I live in Australia and we are basically burning down here 9months of the year what have you guys heard about sunscreens for cats.
I know a majority of sunscreens contain zinc or zinc oxide which is toxic to cats but I have seen one by Dr zoo (couldn't post a link cause I'm new sadly but it comes up straight away when googled) that is zinc free, and is marketed for cats as well as dogs and was wondering if anyone had tried it before or had any suggestions.
I live in an apartment and don't plan on letting my cat out doors too much but would be able to take them out for short walks etc and was interested in other options other than sunshirts and for added protection for their ears and nose.
Thanks!
