Hi! I have done a bit of research and get very mixed reviews. Negan loves to be on adventures in his harness and I was thinking about sunscreen for him. I will put on a T-shirt but we live in Florida, so it gets hot (yes, I try very hard to avoid the high temperatures). Does anyone know if a safe sunscreen for sphynx? I have read about “4 all pets sunscreen” and it seems to be a winner, however, I have also read that it’s not good at all for them. I only plan on using every once in awhile, but either way I would be using it. Any ideas and advice on this? Thanks!

@Naked Negan , hello fellow floridian. members will surely chime in. I believe several members do the t-shirt harness routine and no suncreen.

any product risk of clogging pores and or reaction. other sunscreens can have toxic chemical absorbed through skin or ingesting from licking. (yes, even baby sunscreen a no go as cats are different).

I have heard of the product you mentioned however have never used any products on my sphynx crew not wanting to risk skin issues or reactions or ingesting.

give Negan hugs n head smooches from my crew.
watch them little paws... pavement is brutal as you know. there is a chart about pavement temperatures. at the obedience dog club it was 7pm in Fl and they did a demo of the pavement temperature reading with a machine.. it was an eye opener for sure.

I have never heard of one that is safe. Their skin is sensitive and the fact they ingest through cleaning themselves it would be a no for me.

Unfortunately, I haven't heard of a safe sunscreen for sphynx. They do make shirts that help protect from the suns rays perhaps that might help some? Found these on Amazon. They sure are cute!
