I posted Neenee's results in the other thread- but includes the below as well. We are going to start supplements for joint health and I am looking at options. Has anyone used joint supplements? Any brands of supplements better than others? Will your cat eat the treat version or do you use powder/liquid? Post of results---- Well, I came home to a vet message. Her knee and hip joints all look fine. But he said the specialist saw the begining of Spondylosis in the lower spine (from descriptions I found online it is a form of arthritis) not severe though. Her current symptoms MAY still be from a bit of a sprain but that they COULD be reaction to the Spondylosis sort of pinching the spinal cord a bit now and then- kind of like siatica. The good news is that she was running around the house tonight jumping in and out of some boxes. So, looks like we will start supplements (glucosomine?, fish oil, etc) and just watch her and let her rest if she looks a bit stiff.
