Hi! I'm a new sphynx mom to a baby with lots of energy! I live on campus so my living arrangements are not the most spacious. Would it be ok to take my sphynx outside to get some energy out? We have large grassy spaces that are perfect for that. Other than getting burned if I'm not careful about any screen are there any other hazards I should consider?

I would be concerned about any pesticides or other treatments in the grass. You could probably check with your campus to know for sure.

Sphynx can be more sensitive to things but I know a lot of parents that take their babies out all the time. I would be cautious of the chemicals used like Sheldon13 said but then just watch for reactions after an outing and keep it short for a while until you see how it effects your baby.

Some sphynx love walking outside on a leash so it's a good idea to try!
Make sure you have a harness and leash that fits very well so your sphynx can't escape. I make sure always to bring a stroller where my sphynx can jump into when she panics or want to hide.
