Just wondering what symptoms your baby has experienced when they were teething? Were they feeling hot with an upset tummy and off their dry food and bleeding gums. Interested to hear what others have experienced with teething.

I just noticed an occasional tooth sometimes.. found one in my bed once, and that they were chewing non stop on anything they could find. Cardboard, paper, toys, fingers.. I could check by looking at their gums too. For a while they had double canines, that was the most obvious sign.

Didn't notice any bleeding or going off food but we do feed raw which is softer than dry.

I am not sure if the fever(? Hot enough to be a fever ?) and upset tummy would be linked to teething, I have never heard of it causing this. Maybe worth a vet check for parasites or any underlying cause for this if it is new and concerning you.

Here is a thread on teething - http://sphynxlair.com/community/threads/teething-kitten-woes.21311/ I also agree, bleeding gums is not common, maybe upon a fresh tooth falling out perhaps, kittens begin teething approximately 3-4 months in, they generally lose their baby teeth and acquire their adult teeth by the age of 6 months or so. A few chew toys or "chew ring" should help in teething.

Thanks she is using her teething ring and biting the plastic wand of her tickler toy. I noticed she is breaking new teeth .

Chewing and biting were Frida's things. I had to put protective tubes over all my cords because she was chewing them non stop and I was worried she would get hurt. Also found a couple teeth. That's all no bleeding or fever. Maybe bring your baby for a checkup?
