The other day, Haji's mom asked me for my address because she said she wanted to send me a care package. I said that it was terribly sweet of her and sent the address. I thought maybe some cookies or a catnip mousie....but today a package arrived in my mailbox and I brought it into the house and found a box with a teddy bear that says Hug Me, a cherry scented candle, a box of candy. an adorable card and a twenty dollar bill with a note that said use it however I see fit. I instantly started bawling my eyes out. I couldn't believe anyone that doesn't even know me would do such a wonderfully kind thing. Kate--you are amazing! And I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will use the money on the new meds I need to get for the unborn nakeds when they arrive.
Now as if that wasn't wonderful enough, there was a second package--this one from Tanya. I opened it up and found the most beautiful pet bereavement frame with a lovely verse and a pic of Coal and Eggnog along with their sissy, Noel. I again started to cry...what a kind thing to do for someone you don't even know, Tanya! And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring about us so much.
God bless you both, and all the others on this lovingly wonderful site--it was the smartest thing I've done in a long while the day I joined the Lair. I tell newbies all the time this site is the kindest place I know....and doesn't this just prove it again?

....it is good to see that there are still people out there who really care about what happens to another person....i'm glad to have join this "family"
