hi guys I really think I have too much time on my hands lol
I love to sit and watch my little girl and boy play , most of the time they play nice !
But I have to be referee at times as well !
When one goes hiding and the other can’t see him / her they make the most adorable sound nothing like I’ve ever heard before
It’s a mix of like a chirping sound and this other sound I cannot explain but it is ever so endearing

I have never ever heard them MEOW !!
It just hit me whilst I watched them play
Now everyone are in bed here it’s 23;11
So I get my phone and txt my Claire bear no she said. She said wow thanks for that mom I’m going be up now thinking about it , so I asked again just for confirmation ( by the way she phoned me when she got the txt )
She said NO MOM STRANGE AS IT IS I HAVENT !! Then cut the call ( cheeky girl or what )

Does any one know the answer !
Do your naked babies MEOW OR MAKE lovely little sounds ?
Cleo has a lovely purr starts off low then gets quite high , how lovely and calming is a kitties purr
Now Mr Bagins purr’s like crazy when he is eating lol
Love a man who enjoys his food ah ha
Would love your input and would love for you to try explain the sounds lol
Thanks in advance
Hugs
Anita Cleo & Bagins xxx❤️❤️❤️

I used to have a pair of Siamese cats so I was used to cats talk. My seal pointed Sphynx is a talker. Even if I didn't see her, I would think "that cat has Siamese in her" just based on how she likes to go on. Needless to say, she has different sounds for different things. One that always makes me laugh is when it's time to sleep and I put her in the bedroom, she hisses. Every. Single. Night. But I don't run a democratic household ;)

My white Sphynx on the other hand hardly ever talks. When she wants food, she comes over to where I am, taps me with a paw and then just stares at me. If I don't look at her, she taps me again. She lets out a little meow when she doesn't like what you're doing (for ex, trimming nails) but that's about it. Ironically, she is my trouble maker. If I ignore her long enough, eventually she knocks something over. Would rather she would hiss like a normal cat...:banghead:

My Raphael does not meow often. She chirps at my bedroom door when she wants me to get up in the morning. But she does let out a meow like I am killing her when I give her a bath!

Ross meows like he wants to meow my ears of my head;-). Jade hardly ever meow but she chirps a lot when she sees birds. Toa never meows nor makes any sounds. He only snores like the best!

Bruce makes a single, short sounding meow/chirp whenever he is trying to warn us of something... “I’m jumping off the counter” “I’m going to use the bathroom” “why did you just wake me?”. It’s never much more than that. He will let out a few little meows (2 or 3) when I lock him out of the bedroom at night for being annoying, then he will claw at the carpet at the door which is much louder than his meow. If he’s hungry and knows food is coming he will try to climb my leg like a tree haha I also used to have Siamese cats so I am used to the yowling.... it’s a nice change having this quiet little angel!

Both of mine are pretty chatty. Dmitri will meow if he wants to know where you are or if he wants to be rescued from where he is. He meows at the door when I come home from work and he meows in impatience when I'm prepping meals. He'll also meow when I talk to him, and something it feels like he meows just to say 'hey'. Iroh both meows and purrs when I'm prepping meals, but he's only 6 months old, so he still has that tiny 'meep' kitten meow. He'll also meow a little when he and Dmitri play or if he realizes he's on the first floor but Dmitri and I are downstairs (this one is very woeful because he has been heartlessly abandoned). He'll also make a noise when he's running that's not exactly a meow. More like a 'mrrt mrrt' sound. It's helpful because it's usually the only warning you get before he dashes under your feet and you nearly step on him.
