While I can be exceedingly cynical, it might surprise some that I'm generally optimistic. I never saw The Purge, didn't know that it had sequels, and this tumblr post illustrates why I have no interest in such pessimistic productions. No offense intended towards anyone who enjoyed this movie; I'd just really like to see this rewrite go into production!
