I share in the immeasurable hurt of sudden loss heart related, twice, both my Yoda's., one barely age 2.

Someone once told me cry till I can't no more. The emotions still ebb and flow . No matter the pain I would not have missed the journey for anything in this world. I joined petparentsurvivors and the poems and support , amazing family there so supportive and understanding like members here.

One of the things I thought of on my journey of grief with babies over the decades, my nakids , bengal and pups was that whatever disease, cancer etc took them from this earth, I would not let the cancer, heart related etc win and define my eternal love of them. Their ailments cannot take away the eternal love, spiritual bond.

It has been some time and now I can look at their photos and smile instead of crying everytime. I still watch the night sky and whisper I love you's. it's a deep connection in the universe. I can touch their photos and smile inside knowing the bond is forever just in a spiritual way., which is very very deep. Believe me, your lair family here truly understands and are here for you. You are never alone. pm me anytime to listen, cry, talk about your sweet Tonti. I get it.

Tonti girl it has been one year since you left your earthly body. Words cannot describe the pain, sadness, feelings of guilt around what we could have done, and oh all the feelings wrapped around the loss of a loved one.

I always knew you were so special, and called you celestial. I know you are somewhere out there in some form and death doesn’t scare me in the same way because I look forward to our reuniting.

In the meantime I am here on earth with Toadie, who is such a blessing and a little magical one.
I love you so so so much Tonti.

thank you so much i had a moment of crying about tonti when i met joey. i think it’s pretty wild how i received a “one year anniversary” notification within an hour of joeys foster mom posting about her - the reason i joined a year or so ago was to grieve and post about tonti.
really wild timing and when i saw joey i just had a feeling!!!
