Hello all. Ive been away awhile, but Im back in need of some advise. My 4 year old Don Sphynx, Wrinks, was diagnosed this week with Stomatitis and Tooth resorption. I was told he would need a full mouth extraction or steroids for life. Anyone who has been through this please share your story with me and any advise or information you have on this please! Im horribly nervous and upset about this, and the thought of my little Wrinks in pain is more than I can handle! He doesnt appear to be in any pain, and is eating normally. But his gums are very red and swollen, and his lips are often wet with saliva now. It is a new problem for us, and anything anyone can share would be much appreciated!

Hi there! I am so sorry about Wrinks. I know a lady here had her sphynx go thru a total tooth extraction. She had posted in the Adoption thread. She may be able to answer your questions! her username is @Betty Ann

Drooling in cats is a sign of pain. You might want to get a second opinion about your cats diagnosis. Just from experience, Long term steroid use is very hard on kidney and liver function.
SSO sorry you are having this come up to deal with. It is very frustrating not being able to do more for our kits.
