Update on Coco

Coco had a blood transfusion on July 22 and her PCV went up to over 20%.
It was 12% before the transfusion.
Now it is going down again.
When it hits 20% we will start the Epogen which may be Thurs.
She also will start a new med called Benazepril.
She is still weak because of the anemia and her BUN is now 88.

Coco is still weak and sees the vet on Thurs.
She ate today though.
Poor Boo lost his fight with CRF today and he only had CRF since March.
This is so unfair.

Oh Mews2much, I'm so sorry to hear of Boo's passing. CRF can be a very unforgiving disease. Many prayers and warm wishes to his liberated feline soul. You are the best human a pet could ever wish for.

Coco is not ok.
The other day I saw what looked like a rash all over her stomach.
Yesterday she stayed at the vet to almost 8 pm.
The vet it is a bleed and can be from a few things.
One is her new meds another is liver failure and the 2 worse are non viral leukemia and
Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation which would mean there is no hope.
I also had to start a paypal asking for donations because we can no longer pay our bills.
I really hated to do that.
Cocos story is on the blog.
That is why I am not posting to much.
I am trying to find a job.
