Hi All!

Hope everyone and their babies are happy and healthy!

I've shared before, my issues with my kitty Claudia and her sensitive tummy. She currently eats a wet only prescription diet and although its helped her constant diarrhea i'm just not impressed with it. I feel like she looks scrawny and i want her to grow into the best health possible. That said...Im strongly considering going raw!

Looking for advice, easy tips, proportions, makeup, etc. Id first like to try a raw brand that i can purchase from directly if anyone has advice or uses one please, please share!! Also transition tips for a 3.5 month old and a 6month old sphynx. They both eat only wet.

Thanks all!! xo

Several members feed raw Amd will definitely chime in :)

Mine didn't take to Raw , they got too greasy on Acana, and now all 4 doing great with grain inclusive actually .solid poos ,
Nutrisource cat and kitten - no recalls , solid poos clear skin , I can just free feed n go now
(I like it just in case I need a pet sitter )

@Yoda mom thank you! I've read here that some people have actually had success with that grain inclusive food. Such an exhausting, emotional, costly process to find what works. we had solid poos for a while and then as we brought our new girl in, they both now have softer poo. I dont want to jump the gun as im sure it could easily be stress but im trying to find the best i can to keep them full and healthy. I feed hills md suggested by my vet and i just dont think its helping them grow, and its SO expensive. helped my sick kitties bowels for sure, but not all the time.

The reason we thought no grain was because she was eating dry, and wet, and we gradually switched to a better and better formula to stray from the breeders food. the vet thought the dry was probably a main issue but right now my head is spinning ! open to amazing wet food, or great dry foods people have success with and of course raw info!

Hi, Stevie.

There is a tonne of information here:
Sphynx Cats & Raw Diet

I make my own raw and don't have much experience with commercially available food. Hopefully others will chime in. But check what's available where you are, research, check for recalls etc.

Transition takes time every few days increase raw amount and decrease wet until your nakeds are 100% raw.
